- Be a resident of Miami-Dade County.
- Be between the ages of 3 and 22.
- Have a disability that has been diagnosed by a qualified professional.
- Be in need of specialized educational services that cannot be provided in a traditional public school setting.
In addition, students who apply to Keys Gate Charter School must also meet the following academic criteria:
- Have an IQ score of 70 or higher.
- Be able to read and write at a grade level that is appropriate for their age.
- Be able to participate in a group learning environment.
