The setting of Wayside School is the fictional Wayside School, located in the town of Wayside, Ohio. The school is a 30-story building, with each story being a self-contained classroom. The classrooms are home to a variety of strange and unusual students, such as Jodie, who can't lie; Leslie, who can't stop growing; and Mrs. Gorf, who is always trying to find ways to torture her students.
