What is communative property in math?

The commutative property states that the order of numbers in an addition or multiplication problem does not change the result.

For Addition: a + b = b + a

For example: 2 + 3 = 3 + 2 = 5

For Multiplication: a * b = b * a

For example: 2 * 3 = 3 * 2 = 6

Important Note: The commutative property does *not* apply to subtraction or division. The order of the numbers matters in those operations.
