1. Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Applicants must be Pakistani nationals.
- Age: Candidates must be between the ages of 17 and 22 at the time of admission.
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate (FSc / FA / equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical and medical standards set by the PMA.
2. Admission Process:
1. Registration: Interested candidates must register online through the PMA website or via designated registration centers.
2. Written Examination: Eligible candidates will be called for a written examination conducted by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) at selected examination centers across Pakistan. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions from English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
3. Initial Medical Test (IMT): Candidates who pass the written exam will undergo an Initial Medical Test (IMT) to assess their physical and medical fitness.
4. Intelligence Test: Candidates who clear the IMT will undergo an Intelligence Test.
5. Screening Test: Successful candidates from the Intelligence Test will face a Screening Test to assess their leadership qualities, personality, and suitability for military training.
6. Final Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the Screening Test will go through a final medical examination to ensure their fitness for military training.
7. Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Board comprising senior military officers.
8. Merit List: Based on the results of the written exam, IMT, Intelligence Test, Screening Test, interviews, and overall merit, a final merit list will be prepared.
Admission to PMA Kakul is highly competitive, and only a select number of candidates are accepted each year. The admission process is designed to identify individuals with the potential and aptitude for military leadership.
