Select Scriptures before the students get to class. Give each student a Bible. Tell students the first one to find the correct Scripture is the winner. Call out the book, chapter and verse the passage is in. Call on the first student to raise his hand. If he reads the correct passage, he is the winner.
Set up chairs in an open space in a room. You should have one fewer chair than there are students. The chairs should be set up in pairs back to back with the next pair right beside it. If there are an odd number of chairs, stick one chair at the end of the row. Play Christian music as the children walk around the chairs. Stop the music and tell everyone to sit in a chair. The child without a seat loses and sits out. Take out a chair and repeat the process. Keep doing this until one child wins.
Get a pack of sticky notes. Write a Bible character's name on the back of eight sticky notes. Select a student and place a sticky note on her back. Have her turn around with her back facing the other children. Instruct the children to call out clues until the child with the sticky note figures out the name of the Bible character.
Write a Bible verse on the board. Instruct students to read the verse out loud two times. Select one student to recite the first word in the verse. Select another student to recite the second word in the verse and then a third student to recite the third word. Continue around the room choosing students to recite the words until the verse is complete.
