What is solution in ramona quimby age 8?

Ramona's teacher, Mrs. Quimby, gives her class an assignment to write a story about a problem and its solution. Ramona writes about her problem with not being able to go to her friend Howie's birthday party because she has to go to her aunt Bea's house. The solution is that she gets to go to Howie's party if she eats all the beets on her dinner plate. Ramona doesn't like beets, but she knows that she can't go to Howie's party unless she eats them. So she eats them, even though it's hard.
