Does governors academy accept students off their waitlist?

Governors Academy does accept students off of their waitlist. The process for waitlist acceptance is as follows:

1. The Admissions Office contacts students on the waitlist to inform them that they have been accepted.

2. Students have a specified amount of time (usually 2 weeks) to decide if they will accept the offer of admission.

3. If a student accepts the offer of admission, they must send in a deposit to secure their place in the incoming class.

The number of students who are accepted off of the waitlist varies from year to year. In recent years, Governors Academy has accepted between 10 and 20 students off of the waitlist.
