The Math Playground offers a game called "Measuring Angles." It provides the player with 10 angles that must be measured. The player must decide what type of angle is given: acute or obtuse. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees and an obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees. The decision will allow the player to decide on which scale to use. After this, the player must use the given protractor on the screen to measure the angle.
Alien Angles is another angle measuring game provided by Math Playground. This takes a slightly different approach to measuring angles than the previous game. Rather than just deciding on the type and size of the angle, you must measure correctly so that a rescue launcher is correctly angled to fire at invading aliens. This is done by adjusting the angle to the correct measurement within a given protractor.
Angles can be played in teams and the players use their knowledge in measuring angles via a series of questions not unlike the actual television show "Jeopardy." Some basic knowledge is needed on angle measurements. This includes the definitions of acute, obtuse, straight and right angles. Players should also know about congruent and supplementary angles.
EZ School offers a game called "Measure Angles." This game has the player use the protractor on the screen to measure a series of angles. The player must drag and drop the protractor on the angle to obtain the measurement. To play Measure Angles, the player must have knowledge in how to correctly use a protractor in measuring basic angles.
