Nerdy bookworm: This stereotype is often portrayed as a male or female student who is intelligent and well-read, but is not very social or athletic. They are often seen as being shy, awkward, and nerdy.
Prom queen: This stereotype is often portrayed as a female student who is popular and well-liked by her peers. She is typically seen as being beautiful, stylish, and outgoing.
The loner: The loner is the one who sits by themselves at lunch, doesn't talk to anyone, and always appears to be lost in their own thoughts.
The rebel: The rebel is the one who defies authority, breaks the rules, and generally disrupts the peace. They're often seen as "bad" kids who are headed down the wrong path.
Of course, these are just stereotypes, and there are many students who do not fit into any of these categories. However, these stereotypes do reflect some of the common perceptions of American high school students.
