Is Mikey Way a high school dropout?

While Mikey Way did not complete a traditional high school education in the way most people do, it's inaccurate to simply label him a "dropout" in the strictest sense. He left high school to pursue his musical career with My Chemical Romance. So, while he didn't obtain a high school diploma through traditional means, his leaving wasn't a typical dropout situation.
