Why do Hebrew and German languages have similar words?

There are no evidence, similarities or words that have any relationship between the the Germanic language to Hebrew language family, however some claim German may derived a word from Yiddish which derives directly by a branch by Germanic descent or influence which shares a same common ancestor with Slavic origin but has no influence directly in German. Hebrew shares no resemblance, relation nor a root for common origin with both Slavic or Germanic language families .
