Do you capitalize Gym in a sentence?

The capitalization of “gym” depends on the context in which it is used.

1. If "gym" is used as a proper noun, referring to a specific name or title, it should be capitalized.

For example:

- I am a student at Gold's Gym.

- The school has its physical education classes at the Community Gym.

2. On the other hand, if "gym" is used as a general noun, referring to a type of facility or place, it should remain lowercase.

For example:

- I need to go to the gym to work out.

- Students should exercise regularly and engage in gym activities.
