Does every preposition require an object?

Not every preposition requires an object. Prepositions can be followed by a variety of grammatical structures, including noun phrases, pronouns, or infinitive phrases. For example, the preposition "in" can be followed by a noun phrase like "the box" or a pronoun like "it." However, some prepositions, such as "at" and "to," do require an object. For example, the preposition "at" must be followed by a noun phrase or pronoun, such as "the park" or "him."
