Where did Laozi go to school?

There's no historical evidence that Laozi, the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching, attended any formal school in the way we understand education today. Information about his life is largely legendary and based on later writings, not contemporary records. His knowledge is traditionally attributed to self-cultivation and possibly apprenticeship within the Zhou dynasty court.
