When did children leave school in 1910?

In 1910, the school leaving age in England and Wales was 12. However, this wasn't universally enforced. Many children left earlier, either to work or due to family circumstances. The actual age at which children left school varied considerably depending on factors such as location, economic status, and individual family needs.
