Go to all of your AP history classes. Be sure to pay attention in class and take comprehensive notes. Ask questions in class if you are confused about any concepts.
Do all of your assignments and turn them in on time. Be sure to allow plenty of time to do your homework assignments and projects or papers. In addition, stay current on your reading assignments required by your AP history teacher.
Study every day. One of the best ways to pass AP history is not to get behind in your studying. If you set aside time each day to study AP history, you won't have to cram the night before the big AP history examination.
Ask your teacher for help if you need it. If you have problems with any concepts, be sure to talk to your teacher. Your teacher wants you to succeed in AP history class and on the AP history exam. Ask for assistance when you need it.
Learn about the AP history exam from the College Board. (See link in Resources.) It is important to understand the structure of the exam, the topics covered, the exam date and the exam fees. Your teacher will likely also go over this information with you in class.
Take practice AP history exams to help you prepare for the big exam. Doing so will help you understand what topics the exam will cover, and it will familiarize you with the AP history exam's structure. You will probably take practice AP history exams in class.
