What is the American Grade System Converted into English for example 8th E.G Year 8?

There isn't a direct, universally agreed-upon conversion between the American grade system and the English system (or other systems used internationally). The American system uses grades (K, 1, 2...12), while the English system uses year groups (Year 1, Year 2... Year 13). The age ranges overlap somewhat but aren't directly equivalent because of differences in starting ages for compulsory education.

To roughly equate them, consider this:

* Kindergarten (K) in the US is roughly equivalent to Reception or Year R in England. This is pre-Year 1.

* Grade 1 in the US is roughly equivalent to Year 1 in England.

* Grade 2 in the US is roughly equivalent to Year 2 in England.

* And so on... Grade 12 in the US is roughly equivalent to Year 13 in England. (Year 13 is the final year of secondary education in England and leads to A-levels)

Therefore, 8th grade in the US is roughly equivalent to Year 8 in England.

However, bear in mind these are approximations. The curriculum and the age of students in each grade/year can vary slightly. A direct comparison of specific learning content would be more accurate than a simple numerical conversion.
