Purchase a world history textbook from a reputable publisher. An older edition is usually adequate, and used copies are cheaper. As an example, we will use the second edition of McGraw-Hill's "Traditions and Encounters," but you can access the DBQs without a textbook.
Pick out the documents for your exercise. In "Traditions and Encounters," special text boxes identify the primary sources.
Find the publisher's Web site for your textbook. New textbook editions usually include a log-in and password to access extra online materials.
Click on the "student center" link. (The "instructor center" will require an educator's password.)
Click through to the chapter for your subject. In "Traditions and Encounters," for example, Chapter 10 covers ancient Greece.
Click on the "Internet activities" link to access the document-based questions for that chapter.
