Does a person with learning disability need special education?
Not all people with learning disabilities need special education. While a learning disability can significantly impact a person's ability to learn, some individuals can succeed in a regular classroom with appropriate support and accommodations. Others may require specialized instruction and support provided through special education to reach their full potential. The need for special education is determined on a case-by-case basis through an individualized assessment and a consideration of the student's specific needs and the resources available.
