Set a time or two every day for you to read. In the morning with a cup of coffee, in the afternoon during your lunch break, first thing after work, or in the evening after the kids are put to bed. It doesn't matter when, just as long as you have a designated reading time to look forward to each day.
Determine to read a set amount each day -- whether it's 10 pages or one chapter. You can gradually move up to more after you get used to it. You'll develop a reading habit this way and will feel accomplished with each chapter you complete.
Don't give up. Even if you miss a day or two, or maybe a week because of a hectic schedule, get right back to your reading plan. Sooner or later you will develop a reading habit that leaves you more informed, mentally sharper, and more satisfied with your sense of accomplishment.
