1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Specs

Ford applied the name Galaxie to its top-trim full-size Fairlanes in 1959. In 1962 all Ford full-size cars began to carry the Galaxie brand name, and the upper-trim models became the Galaxie 500, 500/XL and 500/LTD. The Galaxie name was discontinued in 1975, and Ford's full-size family cars carried on as the LTD series. Including the 1959 Fairlane Galaxies, the Galaxie brand was in production for four generations. The 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 was part of the third generation.
