Specs for the 93 Mustang

Ford has been manufacturing the Mustang since 1964. In 1993, three different models of the Ford Mustang rolled off assembly lines. Consumers had access to the Mustang LX, Mustang GT and the Mustang Cobra.
  1. Engine

    • The Mustang LX sported a 2.3-liter, four-cylinder, 105-horsepower engine but could be fitted with a 5.0-liter, eight-cylinder, 205-horsepower engine. The Mustang GT featured the 205-horsepower engine while the Mustang Cobra was fitted with a 5.0-liter, eight-cylinder, 235-horsepower engine.

    Dimensions

    • In 1993, all models of Ford's Mustang featured the same dimensions. The 1993 Mustangs sat on a 101-inch wheelbase. They are 52.1 inches tall and stretch to a length of 179.6 inches and a width of 68.3 inches.

    Transmission

    • Mustang LX and Mustang GT could choose between a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission. All 1993 Mustang models offered fuel tanks with a 15.4-gallon capacity. Mustangs built in this year are all two-door vehicles.
