Choose a Christian song in Spanish that appeals to you. Sample a few different songs by doing a search through an Internet search engine or on a video sharing site, such as YouTube. Older, more traditional songs' lyrics and music are often available for free online. Keep in mind that you need to be able to look at the lyrics and play the music while you practice the Spanish lyrics.
Print out the lyrics of the song so you can have them in front of you as you listen to the music. You may also want to print out the English translation to know what the song is about.
Listen to the song a few times while looking at the lyrics. Notice the pronunciation and the usage of words. Make notes of any words that give you trouble in pronunciation. The goal of listening is to take in any unique grammar and pronunciation. Take note of regular patterns in pronunciation and grammar.
Sing along with the recording. Try to repeat the pronunciation as it is sung and think about the meaning of the song, the grammar and the syntax of each song line. If there are words you do not know, reference a Spanish-English dictionary for help.
Memorize the song. Memorization will happen through repetition and practice. By memorizing the song you will have mastered new vocabulary words and you will have a resource for grammar and syntax.
