Did Abraham Lincoln receive his education with mother as teacher?

Abraham Lincoln's formal education was very limited. While his mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln, taught him basic reading, writing, and arithmetic in his early years, she was not his only teacher and he received little formal schooling. His education was largely self-taught, supplemented by various other sources and individuals throughout his life.
