Why was martin Luther king in college at fifteen?

Martin Luther King Jr. was not in college at age fifteen. He entered Morehouse College at the exceptionally young age of fifteen, but he was already in high school, graduating at the top of his class at the age of 15. He was then accepted to Morehouse.
