Harland Sanders had very limited formal education. He dropped out of school in the seventh grade to find work and help support his family. However, he did not let his lack of formal education hold him back from achieving success. He educated himself through reading and practical experience, and eventually became a successful entrepreneur and founder of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant chain.
