Outline the paragraph. A solid paragraph consists of approximately five sentences. Even though a longer or shorter structure may detail your thought. Before forming the paragraph, brainstorm by writing down important information.
Create a topic sentence. This first sentence defines the idea behind early village life. Focus on drawing the reader in, for example, the first sentence may read, "During the (insert date or time frame) the (insert the village or civilization) suffered hardship as well as triumph in daily life." Explain about the people, the lifestyle or any specific detail about the village. Keep it short and precise.
Compose the body of the paragraph. The second through the fourth sentence clarifies the topic sentence. If your focus is on the people, enlighten the reader on the personal aspects of the village. When you concentrate on the conditions of the village life; tell of the homes, the water supply or the daily meals. Be thorough in detail but condensed.
Write a relevant closing sentence. Depending on the slant of the paragraph, finish with tying loose ends together. If you are discussing the people, explain how the progression evolved. Also, use this method for discussing how the village continued moving forward.
Proofread the paragraph. Check the information for factual content with proper grammar and punctuation. Read a second time for the way the paragraph flows. Have a second person read the paragraph as well.
