Wyoming Technical Institute started in 1966 in a single building in Laramie, Wyoming. The school has grown steadily over the last 44 years, and operates six campuses in four states as of October, 2010.
As at October, 2010, WyoTech has campuses in the following locations: Laramie, Wyoming; Blairsville, Pennsylvania; and Daytona, Florida. Three campus locations in California also offer Wyotech Programs--Fremont, Long Beach and Sacramento.
WyoTech's classes aim to prepare students for careers in automotive, marine, motorcycle, collision repair, electrician and plumbing fields. Courses at WyoTech are relatively short, with most students finishing a qualification in 16 months or less.
