The United States Air Force Academy is the newest of the service academies. It is situated in the Rocky Mountains near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Air Force Academy provides an excellent four-year education free of cost to its cadets in exchange for five years of service as an officer in the United States Air Force following graduation.
