How many classes are used in ucla?

UCLA doesn't release a precise number of "classes" offered each term. The university uses the term "courses" which is different. There are thousands of courses offered across its many departments and schools each quarter. A "class" is a section of a course, and there are many sections of a single course, so trying to count "classes" would be a meaningless exercise.
