Check the awards office at your school. Several colleges offer sponsorships alongside scholarships. Check the sponsorship documents to see whether you qualify, and apply in the prescribed manner.
Contact companies directly. Visit the official websites to see whether they offer sponsorships or try calling and inquiring about funding. Sometimes companies will offer supplies such as computers or smartphones rather than sponsor students financially.
Check student award websites (see Resources). These websites compile lists of sponsorships, scholarships and grants, showing you what you qualify for. Register for an account and specify that you are looking for sponsorships.
Ask your boss. If you are already working for a company, your boss may be willing to pay your education costs to make you a more skilled employee. This is particularly true of technical jobs.
Sign the contract. Once you have found a suitable company that has agreed to sponsor you, you will need to sign a contract. Check the details carefully and ensure that you are comfortable with outlined conditions. Don't be afraid to reject the contract if you are uncomfortable signing it.
