How to Get an Architectural Engineering Degree in Tennessee

Architectural engineering is the application of engineering principles to architectural design and construction. For this reason, future architectural engineers must study in a multi-disciplinary fashion and be well versed in the principles of structural engineering and use of technology, as well as architecture and principles of construction. Architectural engineers must also have a working knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, plumbing and transportation infrastructure. In Tennessee, architectural engineering is available as an undergraduate degree at Tennessee State University.
