Identify your economics class in Wimba. Click on the economics class that you want to access. If you have access to Wimba only for economics, then it will automatically load in Wimba when you log in.
Click on the voice board option in the Wimba program. Here you will be able to listen to audio files that are uploaded by your professor, teacher or even fellow students. These may be questions that students have about the economics class, tests or specific concept questions. You also can upload your own voice or audio questions here. These post to the voice board, so it is not a live session.
Click on the voice direct option to participate in a live lecture or chat session with your teacher and fellow students.
Click on the hand icon on the bottom of the Wimba screen to indicate to the teacher and to fellow students that you have a comment or question you want to share. When the microphone icon appears next to your name in the list of students, speak into your microphone and your teacher and fellow classmates are able to hear you speak.
Click on the video camera icon near the bottom of the screen to see the live video of the session. Some teachers will use a webcam to stream their economics lecture so you can see and hear them as they provide the information.
