To earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, you will typically need to complete 120-130 credit hours of coursework. Most BSN programs take four years to complete, but accelerated programs may be available that can allow you to complete your degree in three years.
Once you have completed your BSN program, you will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Passing the NCLEX-RN is required in order to practice nursing in the United States.
