What gcse levels do you need to be a police sargent?

There's no single set of GCSE requirements to become a police sergeant. The requirements vary depending on the police force in the UK. However, most forces will expect you to have at least a good level of education, often including GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, and sometimes other subjects.

More importantly than specific GCSEs, promotion to Sergeant usually requires a significant number of years of experience as a police constable, successful completion of a promotion process (which might include assessments, interviews, and tests) and demonstration of the necessary leadership and management skills. The emphasis is much more on experience and performance in the role of a constable than on a specific set of GCSEs.
