Interview a broad grouping of females of various ages about their body image. Ask questions that pique your interest: How do they feel about their bodies?; Have they ever been on a diet?; Are they trying to lose weight? Ask how they are affected by society's pressures to feel thin. Once you have collected sufficient data, analyze any trends you have noticed.
Conduct interviews of even numbers of college freshmen and college seniors, asking about life goals, future plans, current lifestyle habits and their direction in life. Compare the answers to determine if there is a disparity between the goals of those just beginning college to those on their way out.
Interview a broad number of college students of both genders about their feelings on marriage. Ask the questions that interest you personally: What is the ideal age at which to marry?; When to have kids?; Should a couple live together before marriage?; Have sex before marriage? What are their feelings about same-sex marriage? Compare the results you get to earlier studies done among students. What has changed?
Sample a wide audience of young men and determine what they perceive to be the expectations of either gender. Ask what it means to them to be a woman/a man in today's society. Ask them to describe the perfect man/woman. Determine what emerging patterns or consistencies you notice.
Identify and interview sets of twins on your campus. Try to determine the similarities and differences you notice between them and analyze your findings.
