How do you write source cards for a textbook?

When writing source cards for a textbook, the following information should be included:

- Author or editor of the book

- Book title

-Publisher: the city and name of the publisher

- Year of publication

- Page numbers of the information used

Example

Author: Smith, John

Title: *A History of the United States*

Publisher: New York: Oxford University Press

Year of Publication: 2020

Page numbers: 100-120

*Note:* If you are using a specific edition of a textbook, be sure to include the edition number in your source card.
