Who wrote the first book using scientific method?

The first person to use the scientific method to write a book was Francis Bacon. His work, Novum Organum, published in 1620, was the first book devoted entirely to the scientific method. Bacon argued that the only way to gain knowledge about the natural world was through careful observation and experimentation, rather than relying on authority or tradition.
