Is Savvy the book a Newbery Medal winner?

Savvy is not a Newbery Medal winner. It was published in 2008, and the author, Ingrid Law, did not win the Newbery Medal for that year. The winner was Good Masters! Sweet Ladies!: Voices from a Medieval Village, by Laura Amy Schlitz.
