Early Life and Career
Angela Schwindt was born in 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Denison University in 1998 with a degree in political science. After college, Schwindt moved to New York City and worked in the fashion industry for several years.
Founding Parachute
In 2005, Schwindt left her job in fashion to start Parachute. She was inspired to create a line of luxury bedding that was affordable and stylish. Schwindt launched Parachute with a small collection of sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases.
Growth of Parachute
Parachute has since grown into a successful luxury bedding company. The company now offers a wide range of products, including bedding, bath towels, robes, and sleepwear. Parachute has also opened several retail stores in the United States.
