Arthur Fry is best known for his role in the invention of the
Post-it Note, not as an author of books. He was a research chemist at 3M who, inspired by a weak adhesive developed by a colleague, Spencer Silver, came up with the idea of using it to create temporary bookmarks for his hymnal.
