Biography
Adam Blake was born in London in 1950. He studied English literature at Oxford University, where he met his wife, Sarah. After graduating, he worked as a journalist for several newspapers and magazines, including *The Times*, *The Guardian*, and *The Sunday Telegraph*.
In the early 1990s, Blake began writing crime fiction novels. His first novel, *The Last Dance*, was published in 1993. It was a critical and commercial success, and Blake went on to write 20 more novels, including *The Devil's Workshop* (1995), *The Skull Man* (1997), and *The Lazarus Trap* (2000).
Blake's novels are known for their complex plots, fast-paced action, and strong characters. They have been praised by critics for their realism, suspense, and humor. Blake has won numerous awards for his work, including the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award and the Anthony Award for Best Novel.
Personal life
Adam Blake lives in London with his wife, Sarah, and their two children. He is a keen traveler, and has visited more than 50 countries. He is also a fan of cricket, rugby, and classical music.
