Who wrote the hieroglyphics and bound them into books for Mayan?

There is no evidence to suggest that the Maya used hieroglyphics. The writing system used by the Maya is known as Mayan script, and it was not bound into books. Instead, it was inscribed on stone monuments, pottery, and other objects.
