Natividad Marquez (1830s–? ) - was one of the Filipina poet laureates during the Spanish period known only after a few of her poetic works were unearthed. As she had no formal schooling during her childhood days, her parents made up for her loss by letting her read poetry that the priests brought home when they attended social functions; it was then she taught herself Spanish and wrote.
