General Format
The basic format for citing a pamphlet is:
* Author's Last Name, First Name. *Title of Pamphlet.* Publisher, Publication Date.
Example:
* Smith, John. *Understanding Diabetes: A Guide for Patients.* Your Doctor's Office, 2023.
Important Notes
* Author: If no author is listed, use the name of the doctor's office or clinic as the author.
* Title: Capitalize the first word and any proper nouns in the pamphlet's title. Italicize the title.
* Publisher: Usually, the pamphlet's publisher will be the doctor's office or clinic. If there is a different publisher, list it here.
* Publication Date: Look for a date on the pamphlet. If there's no date, use "n.d." for "no date."

If available, you can add the following information in brackets after the publication date:
* Edition: [2nd ed.]
* Medium: [Pamphlet]
Example with Additional Information
* Jones, Mary. *Heart Health: A Step-by-Step Guide.* Greenwood Family Clinic, 2022. [Pamphlet]
In-text Citation
Use the author's last name and the page number (if applicable) in parentheses. If there is no author, use the title of the pamphlet.
Example
* "Eating a balanced diet is crucial for managing diabetes" (Smith 5).
* "The pamphlet suggests several ways to improve heart health" (*Heart Health* 3).
