Ode to My Dad, the King of Corny
My dad, a master of the pun,
He'll make you groan, but he's had his fun.
"Why don't scientists trust atoms?
Because they make up everything!" he'll say with a grin.
He'll tell a joke about a fish,
And then ask, "Did you hear about the kidnapping?
It's a real fish story!"
He'll laugh so loud, he might just perish.
So here's to dads, with their cheesy lines,
They make us laugh, even when they're not so fine.
They're the best, even when they're being absurd,
So let's raise a glass to our dad, the one and only, word.
Another Dad Joke Poem
My dad's a pro, he's got the knack,
For jokes that are so bad, they make you crack.
"What do you call a lazy kangaroo?
A pouch potato!" he'll say with a wink.
He'll ask, "Why did the scarecrow win an award?
Because he was outstanding in his field!"
He'll chuckle and say, "I'm just a dad, you know,
But I've got jokes that are sure to flow!"
Dad, You're the Best (Even When You're Being Silly)
My dad, he's a goofball, that's for sure,
But even when he's silly, his love endures.
He'll tell me, "You're the apple of my eye,
But you're the only apple I've ever been able to buy!"
He might say, "I'm so tired, I could sleep for a week!"
But then he'll spring up and make me laugh with a peek.
So thank you, dad, for all the laughs you bring,
Even when you're being silly, you make my heart sing!
