1. The Clock Ticking:
There once was a clock, slow and creaky,
Its gears grinding, "clunk, clunk" quite sneaky.
Time, a river of sand,
Slipped through its metal hand,
Leaving the future, so bleak and so murky.
2. The Hungry Cat:
A feline, with eyes like green emeralds,
Stood watching the fish, a bright, silvery marvel.
With a "pounce" and a "meow,"
He leaped, swift and low,
Leaving the bowl, a watery quarrel.
3. The Thunderstorm:
The sky, a dark canvas of grey,
Rumbled and growled, "Boom, boom," all day.
Lightning, a jagged scar,
Flashed across, near and far,
Washing the world in a brilliant display.
4. The Lonely Violin:
The violin, a wooden heart,
Sang a song, a lonely start.
"Screech, screech" it did play,
Whispering tales of yesterday,
A melody lost in the dark of the art.
5. The Busy Bee:
A buzzing bee, a golden blur,
Flew from flower to flower, in a joyful stir.
"Bzzzt" went its wings,
As nectar it brings,
A tiny worker, working for her.
