How do you write a ballad poem about volcanoes?

The earth did tremble, a rumble deep,

A sleeping giant, from slumber did leap.

From mountain's peak, a fiery crown,

A molten river, cascading down.

The villagers watched, with eyes wide with fright,

As fiery serpents danced through the night.

Red hot lava, a burning tide,

Threatening homes, on every side.

A goddess of fire, they whispered low,

Awakened from sleep, in her wrathful flow.

With molten tears, she wept her pain,

Leaving scars, upon the land's domain.

The air turned thick, with sulfurous scent,

As fiery rain, from the sky was sent.

A chilling roar, a thunderous sound,

Shaking the earth, all around.

But from the ashes, life would bloom,

A fertile soil, dispelling gloom.

For even destruction, has its part,

In shaping the earth, and healing the heart.

So sing a ballad, of fiery might,

Of volcanoes grand, in the pale moonlight.

A tale of power, both dread and awe,

Where nature's fury, leaves its mark forevermore.
