A star blazed so bright, it outshone the morn.
The shepherds looked up, with wonder and fear,
As a song filled the air, a message so clear.
In a stable so humble, a story unfolds,
A miracle born, in the chill of the cold.
A babe wrapped in swaddling, so precious and small,
The King of all Kings, He answered the call.
John, the Baptist, a voice in the wild,
His heart filled with joy, for the promised child.
He saw in the manger, the Lamb that would come,
To break down the walls, and bring peace to all hum.
For John knew the truth, that the Savior had come,
To wash away sin, and conquer the tomb.
A new dawn had broken, a hope filled the night,
The promise fulfilled, in that celestial light.
So let us rejoice, on this holy day,
For the King is born, and our darkness gives way.
Let peace fill our hearts, and love fill our souls,
As the message of hope, through the ages it rolls.
