Words to Emily poem that includes but God be with the clown?

Words to Emily

The circus tent stands tall and bright,

A symphony of color in the fading light.

The music swells, a joyous sound,

Yet in my heart, a silence profound.

The clowns they dance, with painted smiles,

But in their eyes, a glimpse of miles

Of lonely walks and hidden fears,

A mirrored sadness through the years.

But God be with the clown, I pray,

For he reflects what words cannot convey.

The laughter's mask, the joy so bright,

Hides sorrow's depths, a silent plight.

And though the world may see him play,

He yearns for peace, for life's true way.

So Emily, I turn to you,

To find the solace, the heart so true.

For in your eyes, a gentle grace,

I see a world, a loving space.

Where laughter rings, and joy abounds,

And peace and comfort, truly found.

So let the clowns their antics show,

But let their hearts, with hope aglow.

And let us find, in time and space,

The love and light that grace our days.
